John is Sr. Director of Product Management for Aspen Mtell. His 24-year career at AspenTech began in Advanced Process Control (APC) with positions in services, support, development, and product management. He joined the Product Management Strategy and Planning group at a pivotal point for AspenTech. During that time the key products that make up the current Asset Performance Management Suite were obtained through acquisition. Three years later John joined the APM team to focus on providing customer value through AI and predictive maintenance. He earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
