Lawrence Ng
Vice President, Sales, Asia-Pacific & Japan
Lawrence Ng is Aspen Technology’s Vice President, Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) Sales, based out of Singapore. Ng was previously the general manager for Asia at Boomi, a Dell Technologies business, where he focused on driving growth and profitability with a customer-centric approach.
Ng held sales director roles at Oracle and headed the database business in Singapore with excellent sales traction in verticals, such as Government, Commercial and Banking. He led the SaaS business for NetSuite ERP and Oracle HCM in ASEAN and Hong Kong.
Between 2007 to 2013, Ng held various sales and business development director roles at Cisco Systems, where he was a trusted advisor to senior IT leaders in the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining the IT industry, Ng had an award-winning career at the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and trained at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst UK. He served in various command and staff appointments for 15 years, where he was responsible for IT transformation at various Army Divisions.
He graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering – and has a Master of Business Administration from State University of New York, Buffalo, as well as a Master of Science in Strategic Studies from Nanyang Technological University.
